Jamaica Escape Launch
Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill, the largest Caribbean franchise chain in the United States joined forces with the Jamaica Tourist Board to stage a promotion throughout its stores located in the northeast region of the U.S. (NY, NJ, CT, MA & PA) to provide four round-trip air and hotel packages to the beautiful island of Jamaica over the months of March and April. A ceremony to launch the promotion was held on Friday March 6th at a Golden Krust franchise located at 998 Flatbush Ave in the heart of Brooklyn.

JTB's Business Development Manager who is the brainchild behind the competition said he was pleased that Golden Krust welcomed the idea to join forces with his organization to stage this promotion. Golden Krust is well respected in the Caribbean Diaspora here in the United States and has done an excellent job in transplanting the islands cuisine and culture on such a large scale to the United States.

Aptly named the Jamaica Escape promotion, customers will have the chance to drop entries in boxes provided at Golden Krust stores in the regions listed above to win escape getaways for two persons to either Montego Bay or Kingston courtesy of Jetblue Airways. Hotel accommodations will be provided by The Holiday Inn Sunspree in Montego Bay and The Courtleigh Hotel and the Knutsford Court hotels in Kingston. According to Candice Richards, GK's Marketing & PR Manager, Golden Krust is excited to be able to partner with the Jamaica Tourist Board and all the other sponsors to promote travel to the island of Jamaica while providing incentives to its valued customers. What a wonderful way to reward our customers for their loyal patronage. This is just a natural synergy that is a win-win for all partners involved she said. At Golden Krust our customers are very important to us and we are always looking for ways to earn their loyalty usually by way of product incentives. This promotion certainly adds a new and refreshing dimension to our marketing efforts added GK's Vice President of Franchise Operations - Stephen Ament. In addition to the Jamaica Escape promotion, Golden Krust franchisees are also participating in a Jamaica Display competition system-wide which involves the creation of attractive displays centered around a Jamaican theme. The competition among stores will last until April 30th and the winning display will receive a cash prize of $1000.
